What do you guys think about dan wesson. I just bought one and it was worked on by gun doc (http://gundoc.com/). I haven't gone to the range yet but i will by the end of the week.

I've had my PM-Exp for a couple of years, now.  It is an excellent piece!  It has been flawless in operation, reliability, and accuracy.  With the same ammo, the same distance, my mechanics and trigger contril, it has been more accurate than my Wilson and my Kimber.  

I bought it new on GunBroker.com from Dan Wesson for $650 before CZ bought the company.  For the price I paid, it has been the best 1911 deal I've made over the past 7 years!

Love the DW Commander I have.  The gun is very accurate, reliable and balances well in the hand.  If I were to do it again, I'd go with the bobtailed commander, but I like the one I've got.
