Exactly what I thought when I bought my Custom II. I knew I could add the NS for $70 (from Top Gun Supply) and was indifference on the checkering. I saved about $150 by adding the NS myself to the Custom II. When you go to the Pro size the frame material is different. The TLE is steel and the Carry is aluminum. A guy in a local shop told me the same was true on the Customs but I knew that wasn't true as I had one. I pulled out the catalog and checked the specs when I got home to see where he got his info. He was thinking of the Pros and assuming the Customs were the same ... NOT. |
