[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Current Threaded Barrel Options

Hey guys,

I am currently waiting on my Grifffin Optimus form 4 to be approved and want to pick up all the necessary parts I need to suppress my guns. I am looking for a threaded barrel for my FS9.

I have read in the past that you can/could pick up a factory threaded barrel from S&W, can one still do this?

I have read of people having accuracy problems with the older Storm Lake barrels, is this still the case?

What other options are there?

For anyone wondering I called S&W and they said they would sell me a threaded barrel.

Anyone have experience with these? Is there any reason I should or shouldn't go with a factory barrel over a Storm Lake?

I bought a threaded barrel packaged by Gemtech at a local gun store. As best as I can determine it is a factory threaded barrel that was just packaged and sold by Gemtech.

Its as accurate as the barrel that came in the gun.
