| I'm typically a glock person. I'm looking for a new carry/class gun. I usually carry my 42 but want a double stack 9. I know I should probably get a 19 or 26 but I'm liking the size of the FNS 9c as it falls right between the two. So does the m&p 9c. Thoughts? |

What other Glocks do you own? 17/34? While the FNS is a good pistol the magazines are expensive. You can have 2 Glock mags for the price of 1 FN or 3 Magpul for 1 FN. I have a 34. Had a 17. And I really have no complaints. I think Glock is as good as it gets. But I guess because I'm a gun guy I like different stuff once in a while. |
| I'm a big fan of the Glock 26. It is my all EDC. I like the FNS guns as well and have two of the full sized (9mm and 40). I would go with the FNS9c over the M&Pc purely as a personal preference thing. I hope you get a chance to try them all. Another big upside to me of the Glock is that it is stupid easy to work on compared to the FNS. And the Glock 26 will share most all small parts with your 34. (the takedown lever spring is different between them and obviously recoil spring assembly). |

The factory 12 round mags basically make it FNS 9c size. I may just go to the shop, play with both, and go with whatever strikes my mood at the moment. Usually how I roll lol. |
| Love my XDm 9mm compact 3.8. I carry with 13+1 and the Pierce finger extensions on the mags. When I am having fun at the range I use the 19 round grip extension mags. Awesome capacity. Also had a Beretta PX4 Subcompact. Also very nice gun but the trigger was not so good on that one and it is a bit wide. In my opinion, the ergonomics of both the Springfield and the Beretta are better than the Glock. |

But if you have a 34 the 19 would compliment it better than the FNS. Mags for the 34 will work in the 19, parts interchangeability, Glock holsters interchange, and the ability to mirror setups on both pistols so no matter which pistol you shoot you have the same feel (trigger config, sights, holster) |

I think you'll find that if you buy a 19, you'll wonder what took you so long. It really is a great pistol. But honestly, of a the pistols you've mentioned there isn't a loser in the bunch. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile No matter what the path, OP will eventually get the 19. |
I'm a big proponent of pistols about the size of the Glock 19. The CZ PCR is another good option if you're just looking for something other than a Glock. Otherwise, I'd go with what you know.
