Colt or Springfield > 1911 Discussions

Been looking at a colt xse for a little while now and then started looking at a springfield loaded didnt know if anyone had both guns could give me any info kind leaning to colt mabey there is something better in that $ range anyway thanks

Given the choice I'd go for a Colt personally- But I have both!

Personally Colt. They are (at least for me) been much crisper in there stock triggers etc plus its every boys fantasy to have a Pony

I prefer American made 1911's so I'd go Colt myself.

Nothing at all wrong with the Loaded, I would pick the Colt.

I saw an article where they are about to tell the UAW and CT to suck it an move to FL.

I had a Springfield, had a Remington, but now I have only a Colt. I just wish I would got the Colt first, wouldn't have shed so many tears and $$$.

My first pistol (and 1911) was a Springfield also. Talk about a mistake.
