Ok so here are my questions and im hoping to get honest answers from you guys as im sure most of you know better than i do....

1. Whats the grading?
2. Is this the correct box ( no stickers and nothing written in crayon) and is this the right manual?
3. Whats the price range?

Gun was carried by a fellow officer at my PD. It has wear but locks up super tight and is still my most accurate revolver.

Sorry for cell phone pics I did the best I could to document any wear

Lastly based on your oppinions is there anyone out there willing to trade for a 4 inch stainless

I can create a seperate post in the right section based on your oppinions

Thanks in advance and here are the pics

Are you wanting to trade it  for a 4 in stainless .357 mag  S&W  model 686?     Or are you trying to find a stainless Python?  (  which is virtually impossible)
What part of Illinois?  Im in Des Moines.

Im in suburb of Chicago, im starting to realize stainless Pythons are very very hard to come by, but yea if i were to trade that would be the only gun i was looking for

Check out gunbroker and the other gun sales sites. Pythons are bringing some serious money!!! Even in the used condition of the one you have it is worth some good money. As has been said, a SS Python is very hard to find....at least for a price that you would be willing to actually use it verses sticking it in a safe under armed guard. ;)
Having said all that...I'll give you $500 cash for it. LOL!!

2 concerns. Not original walnut grips and your box is fake. I would say it is maybe worth $800-$1000 at most with this being said. May find your $1000 if someone is dying for one and does not know exactly these 2 things are missing.

The Python pictured is in poor shape. I would say it was worth the most $700 as it needs to be refinished by Colt badly. This is assuming the timing is correct and nothing else is needed.
