I was looking at a used Colt Detective Special today.  It looked like it was carried a bit, but not shot much.  The asking price was 389.  

Was this a reasonable price?  I have no idea how much these are worth since they no longer make them.

That's probably about right if it's been shot as little as you say. They're nice little shooters & you could always have one refinished to make it shine in blue. There's no real collector value to worry about, IMO.

I almost bought one once about 10-12 years ago & kick myself these days for not buying it.
