Runs great.

That silly orange optic fell out of the front sight.

Good luck with your long slide. I got mine last week in 45acp i put 150 rounds thru it right now. Noting fell off of it so far :). Check your grip screws they will fall off. Here is a phot of mine with upgraded grips and magwell.

Have about 1200 rounds thru it now.
Replaced the chessy fiber optic rod that fell out.
Runs great! Loved the SIG ammo. Have fired a few Buffalo Bore Heavy 10mm rounds.
You’re right about the grips screws loosening.
This is my first Kimber. Have to say I am satisfied so far.

Get some challis rubber orings for grip screws, they keep them from vibrating loose. I use them on all my g10 grips

About what is everyone paying?
Spotted one of these and a camp commander or what ever, at a gunshow.
The long slide was priced right at a grand and the camp commandant at 1150 or so.
