I’m on vacation right now in Sydney on a cruise. Today while walking around town I noticed that all the officers I saw had Glocks with the “ coyote” G19x colored magazines. The guns were normal G17 black. We stopped for lunch near the opera house and 2 more guys walked by. I decided to get up and introduce myself. I asked why the Tan magazine? They responded that they are currently shifting to the Glock and that helps them recognize what officers are using during the transition. I said let me guess you are switching over from Sig P320. They responded with how did you know. I won’t repeat my response I’m sure you all know… But they hadn’t heard of the P320 issues or rumors in the States. Anyway I now know where all the G19x mags have gone ??. They were very nice and even gave me a patch for a souvenir. Attached File |

I didn’t ask I should have… I was more interested in why they had different color magazines in their guns, that’s what prompted my discussion. When I heard that they were switching from Sig I figured it was the same reason many departments in the US are changing. |
