I appendix carry my G17 in a Kydex holster, and wanted to know if anyone else might know of a leather holster that might work better (be more confortable). Thanks.

That's a pretty big pistol to be carrying appendix.

I use the Comp-Tac 2 O'clock for the J-frame, but even the website recommends against using it with large frame handguns.  How do you sit down?

The muzzle rides just over the bend of my thigh in a kydex IWB. Granted I would not want to run a marathon with this rig, but I just went to McDonalds and to the gas station wearing kakis a button up shirt and a fleece vest without any problems. I always quize my wife before I go out to see if she can tell I have a gun on and most of the time she cant tell. What’s funny is that I am only 5’4” and I never thought I would carry a full size piece when I got my CCW.

Try the EHUD and let us know how it works!

At $90 I'm not sure if it's worth $40 more than Comp Tac's 2 O CLock, but it's worth a try.

EHUD

I'm looking to try appendix carry too but I doub't I'll go much larger than a G19.

I use a custom modified Comp-Tac Pro-Undercover (Glock 30) and I also use a straight drop Blade-Tech IWB (Glock 19).  The Comp-Tac works great and the Blade-Tech is okay but  I'll probably be getting another Comp-Tac to replace the Blade-Tech.

Another good leather option is a Tucker Cover-Up or Cover-Up Plus.  The belt cip is adjustable for height and cant.
