I bought three compact frames when they where 49.00 Thinking of grinding or filing the finger groove nub off ofr one. If you did what did you use and how did it turn out ? I'm thinking a triangle file would work best. I prefer a Gen 1 or 5 type grip with no grooves. Really like my micro grip |

I clicked this wondering if you were talking about the little nub on the end of the trigger bar that interferes with trigger reset on some non-dagger slides. I had that happen on one of my friends so I replaced the trigger bar and shoe with a cheap P80. Then it turns out the magwell was out of spec so I put the original back in and I still need to get that returned for work/exchange. |

I did 2 compact frames. I got rid of the front hook on trigger guard, finger nub under trigger guard, front lip of magwell and rear grip hump. Works for me and I like how it turned out. |

I haven't done that, but I did sand a bit on my Dagger frames, because there's a bit of casting flash that I could feel rubbing on my hand. 3 of mine were black, and there was no issue, but on the green one it removed the color. I didn't realize the color was only an outside layer (I assumed it was made of green plastic), so I now have a green pistol with dark patches where I sanded it. It doesn't affect its function, but it looks like shit.

The newer colors they added state that the frames are cerokoted. That's the number one reason why I never ordered one of those. My experience with PSA cerokote is it's not applied properly (slide with multiple missing chunks fresh out of the package). I didn't have high hopes for the frames being any better since they were plastic. |

I could have it recolored or something, but I will probably leave it as-is to remind myself not to assume things. Also, the point of me getting these was to have a few inexpensive guns to put in emergency kits or leave in a vehicle. Spending more money on them defeats the point. I took this pic to share the experience; I bought 4 frames and one stripped AR lower in one order. All came in the same box that was about a 1' cube. It contained a total of 28 PSA stickers.
