Network gurus I'm looking for a great wireless router that will support not only internet browsing but Netflix streaming and wireless IP cameras as well. What do you guys recommend?

can you guys recommend a brand and model number?
Thoughts on this? http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Wireless-Router-Gigabit-WNDR4500/dp/B005KG44V0 While we are on the subject if I wanted to setup some POE devices do I need a separate Ethernet cable for each device with an injector in each Ethernet cable or could I have one Ethernet cable leaving the router with an injector hooked up to that single cable and then split that off into two devices? |

ASUS RT-N66U

Nope. Separate cabling. eta: Hook a switch at the other end for added ports. eta2: My experience with these is limited to 1 installation directly to an xbox so I may be incorrect on one of those statements. Which I don't know. Probably the first and after research, both. Thought this was something else. Sorry.

I'm not a huge fan of the NetGear user interface, but that should do you. |

Not many that are consumer level but there are POE switches that are cheaper Quoted: http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-8-Port-100Mbps-Switch-TPE-S44/dp/B000QYEN1Ware there any routers that have Ethernet ports that support POE devices without the need for a separate injector? https://www.google.com/shopping/product/14468254410237616847?q=poe%20switch&hl=en&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=2iR&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&bvm=bv.43287494,d.eWU&biw=1056&bih=897&sa=X&ei=ncE2Ud_dMpPM9gSw2IDACw&ved=0CJIBEPMCMAI http://www.beachcamera.com/shop/basket.aspx?sku=NGWNDR4500&act=add&rmsg=-+Please+note+a+lower+price+of+%24149.00+on+N900+Wireless+Dual+Band+Gigabit+Router+%28WNDR4500%29&cpn=&sks=NGWNDR4500,&&ref=pricegrabber&omid=138&CAWELAID=1483997954&cam=dtc |

I just purchased this router ( D-Link DIR-655 Xtreme Gigabit Router ) to use with these wireless cameras ( D-Link DCS-932L Day/Night Network Camera ) and they work like a charm. I also get Netflix and it works extremely well. Purchased through Tiger Direct and got them with a discount coupon code offered on their site.
I am a tech moron and even I was able to get it all to work |

I'm a big fan of the Airport Extreme. I've had the same one since 2008 and it still works flawlessly. They're really no more reliable than anything else. We've probably been through a hundred or two of them. They do what they say they do, but I don't think they're worth the premium unless you run a Mac already and really can't work out how to manage a brand that works via web interface. The airport admin utility is about as easy as it comes. |

I have that Router and it works just fine for all of that you are looking for. I did have to get a range extender as the router is in the corner of my basement and to run netflix on the other side of the house upstairs the signal was too weak to stream, but extender works perfectly |
