Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - vmware default machine startup?

in vmware vsphere client I create a new VM using a template.
The go to the host settings tab for virtual machine startup options.
This newly added machine defaults to "manual startup".
I then have to remember to manually go here every time I create a new VM and change from "manual startup" to "any order".
Is there any way to change this default behavior for newly created machines?

I just have it burned in to my mind to add devices to the VM, move the VM to auto start, etc after creation.  Don't really care enough to script all that, if that's possible, because it would only shave maybe 30 seconds off of my VM staging time.
