What fills the void where we pump & have pumped out all our oil?   Any instances of sinkholes or any earthmovement?

More oil.  Although scientists (the same scientists that brought you Global Warming) have told us forever that it takes millions of years for oil to be made, the latest and greatest science says that it only takes about 10 years for oil to be made. New oil is constantly being made.

Case in point.  West TX oil wells that were pumped dry in the 30's and 40's are now filled to the brim with crude.

The pore volume in the reservoir is a tiny fraction.  Most oil is "pushed up" by water or brine which replaces the "lost" volume in the pore spaces.

There have been instances of subsidence with oil and gas extraction but usually in shallow formations.  Most oil is below a mile deep.

I pour my used engine oil in them.  It confuses the scientists.

Most oil is not in pools, but trapped in porous rock. After pumpuing out the oil, you are left with prous rock that doesn't have oil in it.
