Start from the front of the manual. Read everything before the load tables first. Then, go find someone who has been reloading for a while and ask to watch them. It's not worth losing fingers or an eye over. http://www.giltweasel.com/pics/reloads/image001.jpg http://www.giltweasel.com/pics/reloads/image004.jpg Holy shit, backstory?

You wouldn't be able to fit 22.8 grams of Varget in the case anyway. That's a shitload of powder compared to 22.8 grains. ETA - Ahh too slow.
My miracle target load uses 27.2 gr. of Varget under a 53 gr. SMK flat base and the powder is level with the top of the case. |

Recommend the ABCs of reloading, great book that covers everything you need to know. Absolutely. Whenever someone asks me what they need to start reloading, I tell them to get this book and couple of manuals and read them over and over until they can't stand it anymore. THEN start getting gear, |
