Not Pack Rat but another company quite similar.
In my case I was remodeling the house and had the storage container placed in my drive way where I put all my personal belongings.
But this company also allows you to pack your things in it and they take it contained to the place your moving.
I would think it much better than driving a huge ass U-Haul truck across multiple states.

I've used PODS twice when moving for decluttering the house before sale, and it was great.  However I did look into shipping from TN to PA and it was very expensive.

That's the company I used.
For the life of me I could not remember their name.
Very reasonable cost wise at the time.

When I was remodeling my house in 2009 the charge for the large POD was a mere $135 a month with I *think* placement and re-pickup fee of $75 each incident.

I don't remember for sure but I want to say somewhere around $2500 for one 16' container.  Memphis to Philadelphia.

PODS are great but they will bend you over after the fact with hidden charges, up charges and fees.

Moving sucks, but you just have to bite the bullet.

But seriously, fuck those guys.

shit, they want 2000 bucks for a 16 footer. I think I can get movers cheaper than that. if not....yard sale.
