OUTSTANDING! Dogs are capable of such amazing things and a working breed like the German Shepherd Dog is a true credit to the species. GSDs are on the front lines everyday in our war on terror. They scan bags for explosives, detect IEDs, chase/track down suspects, protect critical installations, and find our loved ones when they are lost or dead. I've seen GSDs do some amazing things and I wouldn't own any other breed. They aren't for everyone though and who ever abandoned HERO deserves a swift kick in the rear for buying a GSD when they couldn't take care of him. My GSD Dieter really is so smart he understands almost everything I say; I swear if he had the right vocal cords he could probably talk back.  |
