Windows will not remember any passwords!! WTH? How do I fix this? Please help, and thank you. BP |

All passwords! Everytime the box comes up I check yes for remember password. Next time no go. Cookies are enabled, security is set to low. Nothing works. With 98 All my passwords were rememberd. This is a major pain. This program has done this since I turned on the computer. I am getting mad. HELP!!!! BP |

Go to c:\windows (or wherever windows is installed) and delete *.pwl. Those are "password list" files. Sometimes they'll get corrupted and stop working. They'll be rebuilt as you start saving passwords again. (Actually, this may not apply to XP. Did you upgrade from something else?) -Troy |
