I need recommendations for a music editing program (preferably freeware) I dont need to do anything fancy I just want to take certain parts out of mp3's and be able to put tracks together into a fluid soundtrack so that there is no pause between tracks etc. I mainly just need to edit boring parts out of songs and be able to put the good parts together into several strings and essentially make a different song.

Thanks for the help.

That's alot of editing software, and an expensive suite, for a guy who wants 2 functions and a price of $0.00.

Goldwave is a fine editor for what you need, and bone-head easy to use.....mp3 rippers available free too (LAME).

Soundforge is also a great, simple editor with alot of power. It's costly, but if you have Limewire and no conscience (ahem), then there ya go.
