I'd get another lower for the existing upper to match.

I have a similar build to yours...recently built an AR pistol with the brace and liked it but in the end it just wasn't the same.

Save up and build the pistol...don't sell your rifle.

Build a second gun.

The two ARs I shoot the most and like the best are my 8.5" pistol (stamp pending) and 18" rifle.  The 18" is my favorite by a fairly large margin.

A least shoot the thing first!  I bet you love it.  Nice gun!

Would I trade an AR rifle for an AR pistol... NO!

Two is one, and all that.  Embrace the BRD.

What I would consider building:
- AR pistol assembled with high end parts and a 10.5" barrel
- A2 buffer tube ( modified so it would not accept a stock) (  to get it to 26"+)
-sig wrist brace
- foregrip ( AOW stamp)
-aimpoint?

Fo?

I would pass on the foregrip and all the NFA nonsense. Just put a handstop on it instead.

I'd have more.... I still need to get sights, mags, & amo for the rifle.
