If a member has somebody on his/her ignore list, and that person is a mod that posts a warning as a tacked thread... Can that member get in trouble for not heeding the advice or.regulation posted? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

ignorance of the law does not excuse someone from liability
there are very few exceptions, for example if a law states that something must be done "knowingly" or "willfully". in the case of this site, you are here on the good graces of the Avila's. you can plead ignorance all day long and appeal it up the chain to EdAvilaSr himself, but at the end of the day they (site staff) can terminate your membership at any time, with no warning whatsoever whether you broke a rule or not. |

The annoying thing about this is that a small handful of users are mods of some of the less-used forums, and can be really annoying, immature, jerkish posters in GD, but can't be ignored because they mod some little forum somewhere.
(FWIW, only once have I ran into this....most mods do a great job, and in fairness, the one I wanted to ignore does a great job in his own field/forum) |
