How do I make it so iTunes doesn't automatically start up when I boot my PC?

Thanks.

I'm sure there is a way to do it through itunes itself but since I don't use it, I couldn't tell you how.

run 'msconfig' (type it in the search bar if you have Win7) and select the 'startup' tab at the top. You will have to restart to finalize.

Is your ipod plugged into the PC when you boot it? If so, that's likely the culprit. Have you tried disabling the option to Launch iTunes when the iPod is connected?

iTunes doesn't always run.  But the software that will tell if you plug your iPhone/iPod/iPad in, then start iTunes, is always running, with no way to remove it short of getting rid of your apple products.

Hrm. Do you have any of the other boxes checked?

As suggested above, not having the iPod plugged in should also keep iTunes loading @ startup.

Go to the iTunes store and listen to Darth Vader or Sideshow Bob read you the Psalms.
