Lookin to buy one. I know a guy who is selling a lightly used one with defender case, stylus pen, and camera connect package. It is an iPad 2 16gb. What would be a fair offer for everything? And how do u guys like em?

make sure you look at kindle before committing to an ipad.  I fucking hate them (using my nephews).

Reasons?

IMHO $200 would be tops.  $150 would be a good deal.

Reasons: you could get a new Kindle or Galaxy for $200 or less.  Refurb iPads were $250 last I checked.

Love my iPad (on it now) but I think a mini is the right size.  The 10" is too big.

I have a mini and love it, it was a gift, though. I don't think I could justify the expense to buy one brand new.

Picked up a used 16Gb 3rd Gen iPad for $245 at Game Stop; then a week later upgraded to a 32Gb 4th Gen iPad for $200 more (and trading my "old" one. I love it. The retina display sold me into it.

There was quite a jump between the 2 and the 3rd gen iPad.  THe display is hugely better on the 3 with the retina and you can have siri on the 3 but not the 2.

But, if the price is right, I would say NO more than $150 you can use it for all kinds of things.

My wife still uses her ipad 2 and I have a 3.  I have no intention of upgrading them until they wear out.

Checkout a Nexus 10 too before you dive on in.

If you get the new ipad ask Siri

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?  It's hilarious.

how do i like them? i dont.

the nexus 7 is half the price or less (FOR BRAND NEW) for a product that does everything the ipad can do and more (ios being pretty limited compared to android)

with apple you have to remember that half the price you're paying is for the name itself.

Or Nexus 10 if you want a full size tablet. About half the cost of the iPad is the apple name. I'm not an apple fan, for several reasons, lack of customization, they are slow, and the fact that every time you turn around the damn thing is asking for your overly complex password.

I'd get the mini but I'm pissed that they didn't put a retina display in the mini.

I guess they needed something to get people to buy the mini 2.

I'm a huge mac fanboy. Work gave me a free one to use.
I never touch it. Laptop or phone is all I use

No idea on price, more of a what's it worth to you type of thing

Me? $150
