| I’m new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I’m interested in building an AR or two plus stock up on some stripped lowers before November. Like any consumer should, I’m doing my homework before I make any purchases and I look forward to utilizing the plethora of information available on these boards. |
Welcome! There's a lot of info on building AR's in the AR-15 section. Click------>Link Try not to get sucked into the heated debates in the general discussion area. Many accounts locked from this particular section of ARFcom |
You're new here. ![]() J/K there is a ton of info here. GD has info but it's different. It's just usually stuff that you try to forget later. |
Well, this is General Discussion and it gets pretty rough in here.Don't let it get to you. But head over to the AR tech forums, and you'll find a couple of weeks worth of reading. |

Welcome! The reason I found this site was for all the good info on here. Took me a few months to "discover" the GD Just a hint for posting in the GD. There is a four drink minimum before posting. You have to/had lived in your mothers basement. Truck driving is mandatory.........(still haven't gotten around that on) Be very leery of any post that has "goose" in the title |
2 close calls and a full scale draw down all by post 100. Mark my words. ![]() Welcome.

Skewerlee, anyone who uses "plethora" is a friend of mine! Welcome to the board! There is a wealth of info to be found here, and an even greater wealth of experience. ETA
No rougher than, say, WWF matches. Consider the $24 for a membership; the Members Only section is (relatively) sane. |
, And break out the thick skin, GD can be rough at times
You know you wanna hang out in GD
At least give them a chance to out themselves.
