I have a 1.3 megapixel and I want to get a better one. I don't mind used or refurbished. I don't want to spend over $150. What is out there? |

Well despite your $150 limit.... I would suggest saving another $100 and get a camera that will make you happy, and that will last you for many many years. IMO you will not be happy with a $150 camera. Less quality, featured and expandablity. I have a Canon PowerShot A75 (3.2 MP) I paid $285, but it is now down to $249 You could always try and find an A60 on the net.... they are older, and have less features, but you just might find on for you budget. I think they are 3.2 MP's also. |

Important things to look for: - Lens size (a larger lens *generally* gathers more light, and digicams really need lots of light) - Control layout (features are nice, but if you can't get to the settings easily, you won't use them) - Size & configuration (some will fit in a pocket, while others are too bulky) - Type of memory used. CompactFlash or Sony Memory sticks are best. CF will be less expensive. - Batteries (make sure rechargables can be used, preferably AAs). - MegaPixels (notice this was last? 3 or more is plenty for just about everything, and the best you can do within a $200-250 price range) -Troy |
+1 my girlfriend has a Kodak, I can't remember the model number (pretty sure it was a CX6340 though) www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00009WN9P/qid=1093605218/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1_etk-photo/104-4086261-9137567?v=glance&s=photo&n=502394 but it takes great photos and was under $200. It's a 3.1 megapixel unit. |
Uh huh huh...he said unit... |
Use their camera finder menu. Like tell us you "want to buy a rifle" ... you really didn't give any one enough information to take even the wildest guess at what would fit your needs. The DPrieview web site has a database of hundreds of current cameras with an interface which lets you search features until you find one. My guess is a Remington 700 VSS in .243? |
