Can you people help me figure out what this is worth. It has a 1963 date on it but the reciever is a Hesse. The serial number is below 5500. I bought it at a gun show and took it to my dealer and he said it has never been shot. I just want to know if i got ripped off or not. I paid $425.00 for it.

If its a Hesse reciever and not Hesse built you did ok

Its worth about $10 I will give you $15 to take it off your hands and minimize your loss.

Since I'm a generous person, I'll out-do ARDOC's deal and give you $50; which is more than it's really worth.
Yes, it's a pretty good deal. The seller could've thrown in a little more, but it's still good.
(BTW, offer of $50 is still on the table...)

Nice rifle. Dont know enough about the AK market to say you got a deal or not but I DO know that when I first joined here and asked if $850 was a good deal on a preban colt AR I got some of the same kind of responses you did

If it is Hesse built you got fucked . If it is just a Hesse reciever and somebody else did the work , You didn't do to bad .
