| Guys, I've tried just about everything. AVG's a no go, malware bytes and spybot won't even run. Anyone have a definitive fix for this one? |

I seems that somebody didn't practice safe surfing. It's a computer I'm fixing for someone, according to them- they were trying to watch a video of the volcano situation this week. Sorry, no help here. Its not looking at porn sites alone that will do this. I dont look at porn sites and I still got a virus. Strange thing I was on AR15.com at the time. |

I used this http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-18510_4-10804572.html?cdlPid=10997763 and this http://www.kaspersky.com/ It didn't cost me anything and seemed to get rid of a lot of the stuff, although it appears as though the file which looks for this program is still there as I get the error on startup. ![]() |

Quoted: Did a search of the HD: CSRSSC.EXE-02006AA9.pf in the folder C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch should I just delete that file outright? I don't know much, but I know you need to be careful with that. csrssc.exe appears to be pretty necessary to the running of the computer which is why they named the virus that I guess. |

I found it to be quite useful. |
