Kind of an odd law. Champions of individual freedom those Texans. It took us over 120 years to get rid of the old post civil war laws. Most of our state and local politicians are no better than those in DC. All snakes. Also remember the majority of people living here came here from someplace else. Lots from the rustbelt and now more from the left coast. Growing up in the 50s/60s the population was around 3 million for the entire state. Now Harris County (Houston) has 5 million. Just in one county! 15 million total! WJ |
