I want to get a water spicket ran to my garage, so I can use both hot and cold water.  My hot water heater/utility room is on the opposite side of the wall I want the spicket installed in my garage, so I figure it'll be a fairly easy job.  I just need a faucet that I can hook a hose to, and the ability to use hot and cold water.  What should I expect to pay?  I'm in the midwest, if it matters.

Installing a faucet is probably one of the easier things a home owner can learn to do.  Go to Home Depot and grab a
one of their Do-It Yourself books or do a Google search.

The most expensive part of the project would be buying the proper sized drill bit to go thru the wall if you don't already have one.

If you don't have any of the tools needed you could buy them for the price of the plumber.

It's more of the "I don't want to mess with it, I just want it done" factor.  I'm burned out after a DIY kitchen remodel.

$250 to install water lines
maybe $100-$200  for a wall mount faucet

The drain price will depend on if you have an crawl space or not if so prob another $250 for that.

My main drain is right next to where I want the spicket.  Not that it would matter unless I planned on putting a sink there.
