My FIL was admitted to the hospital this morning with dizziness and diarreha. they did a CAT scan and the only thing they could find was high BP and high sugar levels. They said it was not a stroke. he is not overweight and was in general good health

Any ideas what it could be

High blood pressure and high blood sugar.

Could also be an intestinal virus. He needs to monitor his BP and blood sugar closely now and keep them under control.

Electrolyte imbalance because of the diarrhea? Maybe suplement with Pedialyte or Ensure if diarrhea continues unless on a low sodium diet, in which case use a low sodium supplement.
