You have no clue.

This EO crap has been beaten to death and has been shown not to be factual.

What about the EO banning Norinco weapons and ammo? I haven't seen that one overturned.

False!!!  EOs can only be used to force Federal agencies to interpret certain rules in certain ways, but even then this reinterpretation has to be reasonable.  Without the '94 which will be gone Sept 13, there is nothing he could do.  CONGRESS WRITES LAWS!!!  The president simply signs them to make them official.

He could stop import of just about everything(ammo, parts, etc), but that's about the max he could do without new legislation.

I don't think thats an EO.  As I understand it, that was a Clintion trade deal with the Chinese, who 'volunteered' to stop export of certain guns/ammo, to be granted certain advantages.  Thus there is no ban, as the Chinese simply are no longer exporting them to the US.  I'm not sure though...

It was probably a really sweet deal for the Chinese government.  Sell no guns, and stock Wal-Mart shelves.  Gee, that's a hard one...
