Already in another thread, but here it is again.

Highway 290 North (not moving - creeping at best). Notice the Inbound lanes.

Notice the people getting out of their cars (because it's not moving & it's close to 100 F here).

No gas anywhere within at least 100 Miles

People just camping out trying to stay cool

This is what happens when you procrastinate (welcome to Russia):

The littering starts (the parking lot smells like piss):

I live 90 miles from Houston & couldn't get milk for my 7 yr old this morning on my way home from work.

My streach of highway looks like the above posted photo.

Plus all the wellfare checks have already been spent. Dubious timing.

Never, whatever you do....become a "refugee."

"Refugee" means that you have given up your soul to the government to do with as they will. You will be at their mercy. NEVER be a refugee.

Countless generations in Europe have learned this...Americans....not so much.

By a supermarket shopping strip. They ran out of gas. Some of them have been on the road for 12-20 hours in stop & go traffic. Driving like that kills your gas mileage & not having any gas stations open within a 150 mile radius will strand people.
