I am having some troubles with my 6 week old lab.
Today I took her to the lake.  She ate a bit of sand.. and now it is giving her grief.
She is somewhat constipated and is bloated.
any ideas??

Unless she ate like a crap load of sand she'll be fine.  She's a dog they eat all kinds of weird crap.

My wife can provide some advise - how long ago and how much?  Shouldnt be a problem, unless the pups vomiting - if so, then get her to a vet!

If shes not vomiting, give her some castor oil - start with a teaspoon, - will help it pass.

Yogurt might help.  My GSD pup has a sensitive stomach, works for him.

Give her a hot water bottle and try to keep her quiet tonight.  In the morning take her for a slow walk to get things moving.  If nothing moves or improves by mid morning take her to the vet.
