| My comp is running slow and boggin down sometimes when doing simle things. I have a 2.8 processor and 700+Ram but I noticed there are a bunch of running process is this normal for XP? Is there a good free utility to check and fix your pc for these types of things? I run mcafee, spybot, adaware and stuff but still has issues sometimes and it really loses frames when I download videos from Hi8 or MiniDV to the HD. Any thoughts on quick easy fixes? |
| There are only 4 things on my taskbar running like the volume thing, inst mess, mcafee and mcafee warning me i dont have spamblocker. Sometimes it just frezes up and shows 100% cpu usage out of nowhere. I rememebr on 98 it only required 3 things in the background like systray, explorer and something else and you could close out all theothers to speed up the system a bit. |
