I'm using MS Word for the first time. Man it's annoying.
Right now I'm trying to hyperlink some text (Ctrl+K) but whne I do it it displays the path instead of just changing the color of the text anyone know how to make this "normal". |
| MSOffice 2007 is the absolute worst Microsoft product ever. They reinvented the wheel and made it square instead of round. I can't find anything that I normally use. And there isn't a option for "classic" view. I would say I wouldn't use it if you paid me but it's on all of my office computers so I am getting paid to use it. And it blows. |

Just to confirm, you have the tabs at the top instead of drop downs?
If so, click the insert tab. In the middle of that you'll see: Hyperlink Bookmark Cross-Reference Click Hyperlink. A window will popup and insert the address you want for the hyperlink in ADDRESS at the bottom. At the top, you can change what the link will display in the document itsself. I hope this helps.

Before I could copy a hyperlinked word from a webpage and paste it in a doc and it would be done. When I do it in 2007 I paste the hyperlinked text and it coverts it to code. If I had a word and do a Ctrl+K and paste the hyperlink in that way, when I hit ok it does the same thing. Changes it to code. |
