I went to Netflix to watch a movie on my computer (1st time) and it tells me I need Windows service pack 2. So I go to the Microsoft website to download it. It doesn't offer it to me, so I check to be sure I don't have it already. I don't. I can't get it to download  Any help? |

service pack 2 click the "download" button on the blue strip in the center of the page. it's pretty big, so i hope your not on dialup. save the file in "my documents" and when it''s done, double click the file to start the install. |

here is a better question: why is SP2 required to watch a DVD, and why does it being a Netflix DVD have anything to do with it? i can't see any reason that SP2 would be required, and a few quick google searches don't reveal any extra info. good DVD playback software will play all DVDs, regardless of where they come from. what DVD playback software are you using? if it is InterActual, the free player that tries to automatically install itself when the disc is inserted, do yourself a favor and get rid of it. I prefer InterVideo WinDVD (costs money), but you can download VLC player for free (download here) and it will work well. as far as SP2/windows updates go, i would STRONGLY reccomend that you enable the "automatic update" feature. here is a link MS support site in case you need help figuring out the automatic updates. SP2 has been around for quite some time now and includes very important security fixes. |
She sounds awesome! Mine is only 22, but I've known her for years. Her mother was my old housekeeper, but she went on to another job when my middle two went to school. I've known mine since she was 15, and trust her completely. She is family to me.

I see functionally retarded people destroy machines on a daily basis on accident, and packingXDs couldn't even do it on purpose. I mean wow, seriously, you get a gold star.

It would be a wasteland, like this site I joined the other day. I started a serious topic, and after two days I answered myself, because nobody else replied, because there is no traffic. Today I think I'll thank myself for the reply and seek some more info.
