i am trying to add courier new to the font list for my command line in winXP. i added a registry entry under  HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Console\TrueTypeFont (00=Courier New), but for some reason the only additional font i get is a single sized courier new in italics. every time i go to properties i get an error, "font size must be between 5 and 72 points". anyone know how i can get a regular set courier new font for my cmd line?

how about start>run>cmd.  Click the C:\ icon in the title bar of the window, go to the font tab.  Does your font show there?

All font information is loaded into memory when windows starts, you may have to reboot for it to initialize the font properly.

Is there a reson why you didn't just import it through the fonts folder?
