For my 100th post, I thought I'd take the time to mention a few of the reasons I've grown to dread AR15.com: Hanging out here makes me realize how little I know about guns. I have suffered an appalling drop in productivity at work lately. I feel compelled to spend more and more money that I don't have, on such things as XM193, a pre-ban, and a home DSL line so I can effectively post at home, not just at work, so as to help remedy the appalling drop in productivity. AR15.com made me aware of the BRC, and if I didn't know about it I wouldn't be so pissed that I can't go. As you can see, it's more of a love/hate thing. This is the best site on the internet, thanks to the people who make it run and the people who make it interesting. Now on to post #200... |

Quoted: I have suffered an appalling drop in productivity at work lately. Be careful....things like this get noticed eventually. They took my internet priveleges from me at work for doing the same thing. (Oh, wait a minute...I just posted, and I'm at work!) [:D] Hey boss! Go [sex] yourself!!!! |

Goatboy of Borg: "Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated." Darth Vader: "Come over to the dark side, [strike]Luke[/strike] eswanson." e- Many before you have been enslaved by this website. We've managed to salvage somewhat of a meaningful existence in spite of it. As long as we get our daily fix. [:D] |

Quoted: I have suffered an appalling drop in productivity at work lately. Hey, I quit my job so I could spend more time here, and at www.advrider.com. Working just took up to much of my time to keep up on just the General Discussion forums. Man, I need a life, and a job. |

[:D] No kidding, I think this site is like a substance addiction... Perhaps we can form AR15.com Anonymous? Just Say No to AR15.com? This is your brain on AR15.com? |

Quoted: Well things will get worse soon... I got final dates for the network upgrade. First line goes in on the 19th (2 weeks) and the second goes in on the 22nd. We'll have serious bandwidth then and the site should fly!!! [=D] i knew you wouldn't leave us in this lurch forever. "just be patient" i kept telling matt. "just be patient" thanks, GB |

Here is why I “hate” ar15.com. I wanted to buy a hand-held GPS. Logically, I searched the GPS sites. A lot of tech info was found, even many feature by feature comparisons. Very little on hands on experience. A few minutes before I went out the door to check the stores, I searched ar15.com for GPS. I found more here, more hands on info, than anywhere else. I used what I learned here to make an informed decision. Thanks. Mike |
