Why do we, the people of this country, put other people in a position with a false sense of power, just to have them attempt to ban and control everything we say, do, or own? Are we so fucking morally bankrupt as individuals that we can not distinguish right from wrong? Is it really neceassary for some ass hat in a suit to tell us what we can and can't do?
Furthermore, why do we continue to let these cum guzzling fuck knuckles interfere with our day to day lives? I am far from educated in political matters. To be honest, I didn't give a flying fuck until a couple of years ago. My mistake, but I have since removed my head from my anal cavity. In doing so, I am now very concerned because I have come to the realization that most politicians want to do nothing more than throw money in a wishing well, put some sort of regulation in place, or otherwise run interference in what we do, say, how we act, etc. Over the last few years, especially recently, I have heard the word ban or control more than any other point in my life. Ban certain guns. Ban magazines. Gun control. Ban large soda. Ban gay marriage. These are the ones sticking in my head, but there are more. How do we repair the damage done by these dingleberries? Can we regain our rights and liberties that many have fought to protect? Do we accomplish this slowly, through upcoming elections, recalls, appeals to the courts, and other similar methods? Or has the tipping point been passed and more aggressive and "physical" methods become the way? I hope the former over the latter, but I just do not know. Maybe we just "do not comply", while living our lives under the rule of common rights for all (I.E, gays can marry each other, and I can have whatever fucking tool I want, like a full auto gun and mother fucking Big Gulp)? Regardless of your political affiliation, to think the .gov has not and is not continuing to overstep it's bounds, [u]is completely foolish[/u. I will never understand the fools who want some entity to rule over thier lives. As I typed that last sentence, I just realized the connection between government and religion. That is another topic, though. I think it is time to sleep now. FO

| Almost half the country votes for a living. They will vote for whoever promises them the most shit. Then when the person that promises the most shit gets voted into office , they have free reign to do whatever the fuck they want as long as they are handing out free shit. When there is no more free shit to hand out , then this country will change. |

You've reached the first step in helping to preserve your liberty. Forgoing apathy and starting to understand the nature of government.
The next step is that your vote matters, the next step is to contact your elected officials to let them know your stance on certain issues. We live in a time where the majority of people are disconnected from politics because of their apathy and their view that, "religion and politics should not be voiced openly and kept to yourself." Fuck that pathetic sheepish view on reality! You need to keep vigilant about your natural born rights as an American and keep yourself informed and educated on what needs to be done. The fight for liberty is never over! Don't ever give up and help educate your family and friends. Edit: So far, the replies to your OP indicate that others have not read what you posted and post random bullshit that don't substantiate your original intent. This is typical of Arfcom's General Discussion where talking about issues only means we haven't reached past your thread title. |
