I went to bed earlier and then got up. I don't want to go back to bed, but I should because I have to wake up at 5:30-6am in order to head off to work at a hospital in St Augustine.

I work nights, with a rotating schedule. Even though I have long weekends, most of the time (such as now) they fall on regular weekdays. Since I have no other reason to switch to a normal daytime schedule, it is easier for me to go back to work this Saturday (my Monday this week) if I am up most of the night and asleep most of the day.

Also, its only 1:43 central time.

because I work 2nd shift 1:30pm-12:00am shift premium of 30% any time after 6 is very nice, combine that with a 4 day work week and you have a bucket full of win. Which is awesome for me since it works exceptionally well with my natural sleep cycle, wake up at noon and go to bed at 4am or 5am. Add the fact that I now get a nice premium on my paycheck for that and I'm one happy camper.
