Who’s on the course today? (Page 2 of 7)
I played this morning and shot an 84! My drives were on fire and I only 3 putted a few times. I had ONE double bogey. Sort of a Christmas miracle

Played a charity tourny on Monday. Teams of 4, could buy 2 mulligans each, plus a string each. We ended up still having 4 mulligans left on the last hole. I don't think I've ever played as well - drives were long and mostly ended up on the short grass, putting was great. Everybody on the team contributed. Not sure yet but I might have won Closest To The Pin on the par 3 15th, 3' 3" (we all had to take off before the announcements) and birdied the hole. We shot a 10 under 61. I've never been on a team that shot that low before. Awesome time, great company, fun golf. Edit: Just found out I did win closest to the pin! woohoo!

| 6 rounds in 6 days, only 2 on the same course. Lots of driving and lots of great golf. Ledges in St. George, Utah, Copper Rock in Hurricane Utah, Redlands Mesa twice, Devil's Thumb and Battlement Mesa today. Bad part was driving through Denver and I70 from Denver to Edwards. |

Played Saturday in the west michigan 'hazy daze' scramble. Awesome time. Weed vendors on every other hole. Giant glass jars of weed that looked like they were grown in a space ship. I don't partake any longer, but it looked like fun. C+ game from me, but we managed -10. Attached File Get that monkey off your back Hen! Got the wedge game going and we birdired 5 in a row out of the last 6. |
10,000 years ago there was a 2 mile thick glacier parked right here and not 1 SUV to melt it.

Par 3 - 134 Attached File ......and then 2 putted for par. But then, on the next hole: Attached File 332 yards baby! Yeah, it bounced down the cart path about 100....shorted the lob, went long on the chip and then 2 putted for bogey. It's tough to recover from a good drive. |

Went on a golf trip played 180 holes over 6 days. Played a different course each 18 and only 1 I had played before, 8 or so years ago. Best round was 78 worst worst was 92. Lots of 81-86. So many of those should have been 78-79, just struggled with mid irons. Great time. Piaute sun mountain played years ago, Wolf was closed. Siena Arroyo Talking stick WiKoPa Sterling grove - Paiute and Wi ko Pa’ 2 courses were by far in the best shape ( its overseed season in AZ and LV) but the other courses were not bad. |

Played in our clubs Ryder cup style match yesterday. Had a great time. Came back from down 2 with 4 holes to play in my singles. Granted my opponent hit a shot out of bounds to give me a chance with 4 to play to get it to 1 down with 3 but I had to also give him a stroke on the final hole. But he had also made a 40’ birdie the prior hole to go up 2. Won the next 2 and then birdied the last and he par net birdie so I won. It was great fun, at 60, I still really like to compete even though I’m not a great golfer. |

I played the Lakeland Course at Quechee today. Shot a 90, which is a decent score for me on this course. I had one blowup hole or I would have been upper 80s. Some nice drives and approach shots. Temperatures were in the lower 70s. Absolutely perfect not-a-cloud-in-the-sky weather. And likely my last round of these season. Weather will be closing in on Thursday and it's a miracle we don't have 6" of snow by now. |

I've been training my girlfriend at Top Golf and on a sim for several months and it finally cooled off enough for us to try a par-3 course so she can learn "real golf". The last hole was a 120 yard island green and she made me so proud with a shot that sailed over the water and landed right in the middle of the green. She was over the moon. There were some struggles up until that point but finishing on a high note was huge for her morale. My chipping was garbage today but my putting was absolutely DIALED so I'm content. |

I had the best round of my life today. I got paired up with a "typical retired guy" who ended up being a retired club pro and was in course management most of his life. He gave me a few tips along the way that helped. That old fella could really strike the ball. He was fun to watch. Played 9 and finished 3 over par. GIR was solid and my putting was awesome with the new LAB. I'm really enjoying this game now!
