I was looking to buy a safe in case I ever recover any of my guns that were lost in my boating accident. I will need a safe place to put them. what is the best value in a big safe? 45-60 slots?

Not looking to break the bank as I am on a budget.

A local company called Cobalt used to preduce some nice stuff at reasonable prices, They either went out of business or just moved.

Any safe is better than no safe.  I got a Champion at a gun show for about $800.  Big piece of mind.  My house was broken into 2 weeks after I bought it.  Glad I bought a safe.

Head down to Sam's Club and pick up their Winchester safe.

599.99 really can't be beat, and it's made in the USA by the Granite Safe Company.  (See www.granitesafe.com.)

45-60 slots and on a budget don't mix.

Robbing homes is a crime with a time limit.  Almost any 500 pound box will defeat a meth smoking loser with a screwdriver.  I like AMSEC, if you have the cash, get the fire liner.

I like the American Eagle Ae-22 by Cannon available at Academy for $587.47

Seems to be the best bang for the buck, and gets high reviews to boot.

Putting one in this week, as a matter of fact.
