I've got a .doc file I just downloaded. I THINK it's supposed to be a pdf (it's a story someone wrote), but Adobe isn't able to read it. Trying to open it in wordpad just gives me gibberish.
What do I need to read it? |

Open Office, fuck MS Office. Seriously why would anyone need to keep buying new versions of essentially the same word processor, and in the latest version they sell they changed the interface so people who have used it before have trouble finding shit now. Because I get the new version for $20 through the home use program. |

How have you gone through life without ever using a .doc file at some point? No kidding.....I guess Swindle never had to write a paper in his entire grade/middle/high school or college career. Wrote plenty of papers. An average of ten a semester, often more. Of course, I wrote those on my desktop PC and not my laptop, which until I just downloaded Open Office had no word processor except wordpad and notepad. Those only displayed gibberish. Now I can read the story. |
