Lame threads!

Last book I read was Dennis Miller's.  I used to hate him as a Lib.  But he has started to grow on me now that he developed a conservative brain.

I beg to differ, he had no sexual issues at all, he was quite ahead of his time with his viewpoint on sexuality.  He was lucky to find a woman (second time around) that shared his viewpoints.

If you have any interest/knowledge in mental health read the sequal "House of Misery" by the same author.

The most recent book I read was "Warrior Soul: The Memoir of a Navy Seal" by Chuck Pfarrer

On page 7 he states that his equipment includes   "a .40 caliber Glock model 17 pistol"   a "Heckler & Koch MP-5 machine pistol"   and "sixteen magazines for our MP-5's"  which he described as "480 rounds of .40-caliber Teflon-coated hollowpoint ammunition".

I just finished a book called "Everything you know is wrong" which had a long article on the OK bombing... and how there were more people involved than just McVeigh and Nichols. Fascinating.

I am reading David Tubb's "Highpower Rifle" right now and plan on reading that, naturally interleaved by whatever magazines I pick up and subscribe to. I am going to read "Quicksilver" by Stephenson next. I have been meaning to start it since it came out but never got around to it. He's already got "The Confusion" out and is working on the third book of the cycle. I loved Cryptonomicon so really look forward to this new one.

I have a ton of books in the queue right now. Just need time.
