So I just sent a friend an email asking for help with something, then went back to scrolling through my inbox.

I came across an email from my sister with no subject but the body "thought you might find this interesting" with a link to news dot 7199 dot RU (yeah I know, anything ending in .ru should be a huge red flag).

I clicked on the email to read the full message and the fucking browser just brought up the previous email I had sent and was trying to resend it.

Cancelled the outgoing email, and it did not show up in my sent folder.

Did I just infect someone with PC AIDS?

I didn't click on any attachments, just clicked on the message itself and it did that shit.

Yeah, but how the hell did my just clicking the email itself do that?

It brought up the exact email I just sent and tried to resend it.
