Hey, I am really confused. I will be traveling through Washington state with my pistol. Do I open carry, conceal or disassemble and hide the parts. The reason I ask is the information on the web is contradictory and I will be going through Ellensburg on the freeway. Your advice is appreciated. |

http://www.atg.wa.gov/firearms/states.shtml Washington concealed pistol licenses will be recognized in the following states, and concealed weapons licenses issued in the listed states will be recognized in Washington State, so long as the handgun is carried in accordance with Washington law. North Carolina Mississippi Ohio Oklahoma Louisiana Utah Michigan NOTE: Handguns must be carried in accordance with the law of the state you are visiting. Be sure to check the laws of the other state before traveling there with your handgun. **** If you are from one of those states, carry concealed. Otherwise, it must be unloaded and out of sight. You must lock your vehicle if you leave the gun in it. |
You can keep both the magazine and the pistol in the console, but unloaded. If you have enough lead time and some spare cash, you should get a WA non resident permit or other permit and carry legally while you are here. |
