I can understand them being upset and mad. Hell I was about to go insane 9-11. But it just seems to me that they are directing anger towards something. I cant read Spanish so if anyone has seen their signs maybe you can translate it. I just don't understand why they are yelling and throwing their fists. I know they want to release all their emotions. But I am not used to seeing protesters after an event like this. I also believe they are going to start blaming the USA for the attack since Spain is helping the USA in the ME. Just what's on my mind, sorry for the rant. |

I thought the same thing when watching the protests – It's almost as though they're afraid that the world is going to think they support what happened. What's the point of having a protest [i]against[/i] an act of unspeakable cruelty, if nobody in their right mind would ever think of marching [i]in support[/i] of it? |

I think the big marches are also in part to demonstrate mourning over the deaths. Protesting terrorism is kind of pointless - especially when killing them is so much more effective. I honestly think they should either just give the basques some reservation of mountain enclave to live in (in exchange for all terrorists handed over) - or nuke them. But just END it, once and for all. |

After it blows over, they'll be protesting the US and blaming us publicly. It's all our fault you know. When John F'n Kerry becomes POTUS and opens the US wide open to attack and sends home all the military, then we will finally have peace on earth and we can go about our business peacefully marrying whomever or whatever we want to and molesting whatever men/women/children/beasts suit our fancy at the time.
