Ok, so we have our four episodes, with more coming next March. How do you think the show is so far, and where do you want it to go? |

So far, I like it. When the priest opened his box revealing his military possessions and the gun, I was hoping for a good old 1911A1 or even a Beretta. The S&W was a bit of a letdown. In the original series, it was more everyday folk that were up in arms (literally) against the visitors. It does not appear to be that way in this one. |

When he opened that box I knew it would be his old military stuff. It would of been nice to see and older 1911A1 or even a M9, but oh well. That army looks like it it going to strike earth. In theory we probably won't survive.

Quoted: Quoted: Could do with out the love story from the kids. Other then that not bad, I think that has a big role in it. Have you caught how many times Anna and her daughter has said "He's perfect." How about the mutant baby on the horizon? They could, but depending on the gestation period there may be a race between them and the other couple. Or, they could plan on replacing the news reporter (since he has a "predicted" terminal condition) with Jerry Springer for an expose on human/V/threesome/mother-daughter-boyfriend relations. |

Yes, its somewhat old news, but here's some background on the new showrunner: http://www.thewrap.com/ind-column/chuck-out-v-gets-new-leader-9577 'Chuck' This Out: 'V' Gets a New Leader ABC's "V" is getting "Chuck"-ed. The red-hot alien drama, which premieres tonight following glowing reviews, has nonetheless made a change at the top. Original showrunner Scott Peters has been replaced by "Chuck" alum Scott Rosenbaum, ABC confirmed Tuesday. Peters will retain an executive producer credit on "V" and is still on staff at the show as of Tuesday morning. But Rosenbaum, an executive producer on "Chuck" (and "The Shield"), will now be at the helm. UPDATE 1:40 p.m. CDT: Insiders also confirm that writer/executive producer Jeffrey Bell ("Alias") has left "V." The showrunner shift had been anticipated in Hollywood circles for weeks, since ABC and Warner Bros. TV made the joint decision to halt production on the series in order to get scripts in shape. According to USA Today, which broke the news of the shuffle, Peters was removed from his post last Thursday. "V" begins a four-episode run tonight at 8. It's scheduled to return in March for the remainder of its first season. |

I think it is a great so, but I enjoy the social / political back story more than the plot.
Never saw the first V until a few weeks ago SciFi played the whole series from the 80s, while VERY cheesy I liked the political point the show was trying to make about Communism and Fascism. I think it is funny how in the age of Obama, the show V has a perfect back story for people to relate to instead of just another sci fi alien show. |
