| My car has a good sound system. I'm making a compilation of crow sounds from files downloaded from the internet, and editing them in a video editor to make it sound like a crow gathering/fight. I'll convert it into an mp3 and then tomorrow drive out into the woods and turn it up. I hope this works. |

I saw a show where a researcher tried something similar.
He found that the birds use frequencies 10 or more times higher than humans can hear, which I strongly suspect your sound system cannot produce. Once he built a digital playback system ranging up to 220KHz, he created havoc in the woods. |

It works. This. My brother had a "crow call" cassette back in the 90's that he would play out of the crappy audio system in his truck. It was amazing to watch them come in looking for the sound. I downloaded some crow audio that I'm going to put on my phone and play over Bluetooth to try to call them in. Haven't gotten around to it yet. |
| It worked! A crow came in directly to the car within three minutes. I took a shot with the shotgun but missed. I made some modifications to the audio file and rigged it up to a boombox. I will try it tomorrow here in Colorado . I won't miss this time. Does anyone want the audio file? |
