Wow, they must really be after me then!



It's a minor bug in the IM code.  The counter corrects itself after a couple of screen refreshes and returns to 0, so it's really not a problem.  

You can make it happen by opening the messages module and going to either "Saved" or "Sent" and opening a message.  Then close the Messages module without returning to your "Inbox".  You can run it up as high as you want.
